YouTube rap video about Dubai malls goes viral
A three-minute rap video about Dubai’s malls has attracted more than 16,000 hits on the video sharing website YouTube.
The song, which was written and created by Dubai teenager Rohit Iyengar, was uploaded onto the website in August and has since attracted thousands of hits.
Iyengar, who is originally from Mumbai and has posted several videos online, raps about the different malls across Dubai in his imaginatively-named song; ‘The Malls of Dubai’.
The video sees Iyengar traveling across the emirate to visit Mall of the Emirates, Mercato and Dubai Mall, as well as the emirate’s older malls, Reef Mall and Arabian Centre.
“I'm in Dubai. I'm going to the mall. There's so many to choose from, I don't know where to go. You got big ones, small ones and all of them are awesome. There's so many to choose from, I don't know where to go,” raps Iyengar.
